Austin is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, and the population is expected to keep increasing over the next decade. The capitol of Texas is home to the University of Texas, and the city is considered one of the music capitals of the world. Happy Monday Everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I enjoyed hanging out with my kids on Sunday and celebrating my son’s 15th birthday. Today, I sent my 13 year old on a plane to visit my sister for ten days. Wow!
I was reading from a great book by the best-selling author Joyce Meyer, 100 Ways to Simplify Your Life, and I just wanted to put a few out there because we all know there is nothing simple about a life as a realtor, or anyone else for that matter.
1. Do one thing at a time
The feeling of being hurried is not usually the result of living a full life and having no time. It is, on the contrary, born of a vague fear that we are wasting our life when we do not do the one thing we ought to do, we have no time for anything…

Now this could benefit you in many ways. In my business, I am saying every day and in every way I’m getting better and better at helping others build their real estate business. When you repeat this type of statement over and over, your mind will start looking for the ideas that will bring the words to life.
So, if you want to move to…

I want to apologize.
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you I’m sorry. Sorry for what?! Well, sorry that I haven’t kept you in the loop about what’s happening in my world and in the office.
On my personal side, it’s summer and I’m busy with my kids running to gymnastics and hip hop with Scout who is 7 and taking Lily who is now 13 (teenager!) to dance and a lot of trips to HEB for baking supplies (she loves to bake). Also, daily trips to the high school with my son, Jacob, who is 15, a freshman and starting football in the fall. They grow up fast and I wish I had more time in each day.
On another note, I am really excited to announce that we have closed on the loan for the new RE/MAX 1 building! Yay! We are planning a…
