Elisabet Ney Museum
In 1892, renowned European sculptress Elisabet Ney built a studio in Austin's Hyde Park neighborhood, where she resumed her career as a portrait sculptor. the studio is today the Elisabet Ney Museum, a National Historic Landmark and National Trust Associate Site. Many of Ney's portraits from life, including Jacob Grimm, Arthur Schopenhauer, and Otto von Bismarck, are displayed together with legendary Texas statesmen and heroes.
